Soul Bus “Ninetennial”
In July 2002 an experiment was launch and it was called Soul Bus. Fast forward to July 2011 and the bus is still running strong. Regular lubrication will do wonders… Here are some shots submitted thru the website that capture a little of the fun. Do you have some good pics to share, too? Use the “Share Your Pictures” link above and send them to us!
CD Release Party
“Soon in the Morning”
On June 11th, Tom and Terri Vahey hosted an invitation-only house party to celebrate the release of Gordon’s new album, Soon in the Morning. Here’s a tasty live performance of the title track that is sure to make your mouth water for your own copy of the full album. Enjoy!
More CD Release Party
“Outta’ Sight”
Here’s another live performance from the June 11th CD Release Party… Sitting in with GB are Dave Murray on Bass, Kevin Anker on Keyboards and Jeff Chapin on Drums.
SRV Tribute
August 27th at the Rathskeller Biergarten…Put it on your calendar and keep it there, every year. Gene, Gordon and Benito do! It’s a favorite show for them and a time for many to pay respect to one of the blues greats, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Sage advice: Show up early for seating and wear shoes you can dance in!
Gordon Bonham Blues Band
Kevin Anker and Rick Knapp join Gordon Bonham Blues Band for some Rare T-Bone.
GB with Soul Bus
What happens when one of the members is on tour in Europe? Soul Bus loves the special guest appearance. Guitar-slinger extraordinaire, Paul Holdman is one of the first calls made. Kevin Anker, when he’s not on tour with Tad Robinson or Delbert McClinton, has also been known to grace the Daddy Jack’s stage.
GB with Paul Holdman
Taking a night off from fronting their own bands, Gordon Bonham and Paul Holdman, get together for a spirited night of acoustic music, trading songs and licks.
Thank You, Dancers!
GB wears lots of musical hats (not literally, but figuratively) and as he makes his way to a stage there’s no telling who will show up to get a groove on. Several performers are a certainty though… our dancers. Thank you again, friends. You make the ride worthwhile.
